Amanda’s been a veterinary technician for over 15 years. She started her career right here at Peachtree when she was 18 years old, working with Dr. Chet Anderson. Amanda graduated from Poolesville High School many moons ago. She also took a 2-year break from the veterinary world to become an EMT/Firefighter, where she volunteered at her local firehouses. Amanda has always had dogs, cats and horses in her life. What she loves most about working as a veterinary technician is the fact that she helps those who can’t help themselves.

“Our pets can’t tell us what’s wrong, so we have to figure it out, and when we are able to figure out what’s wrong and help a pet or save a life, that’s the most rewarding part of the job.”
