Dr. Angela Corso was born in Michigan. She became interested in veterinary medicine at the age of 12 after reading the All Creatures Great and Small series of books by James Harriot. Dr. Corso attended Michigan State University with a major in biochemistry and earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She attended veterinary school at Michigan State University and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995.
Dr. Corso's special areas of interest include dog and cat dentistry, anesthesia, dermatology, hospice care and pain management. She is also employed by VIN (Veterinary Information Network), a world-wide online community of veterinarians who support and help each other with case management. Dr. Corso is an active member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), CVMA (California Veterinary Medical Association), AVDS (American Veterinary Dental Society) and IVAPM (International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management).
Dr. Corso married her husband Brek in 2008, and they had their son, Jake in 2009. Two cats named Shadow and Ghost, and two dogs named Crash and Frodo round out their family. In her spare time, Dr. Corso enjoys building Legos, traveling, hiking, camping, gaming, music, movies, counted cross-stitch, and spending time with family and friends.
