Sam Ayyad was born and raised in Watsonville, California. Despite growing up without pets due to his parents' allergies, Sam's love for animals blossomed when he purchased a Belgian Malinois named Jaid and enrolled her in training. Sam joined VCA Pinnacle in May 2024 after transitioning from human medical practice management to animal medicine. He enjoys learning from his colleagues and delivering the best possible care to clients and their beloved pets. 

In his free time, Sam enjoys beach days with the pack, sport fishing, gravel riding, gardening, and traveling. Along with Jaid, Sam's pack now includes an English Bulldog, a Frenchie, goats, sheep, chickens (Silkies and Polish), and even the neighborhood coyotes.
