Dr. Ana Guzmán was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico and then went on to attend Veterinary School at Louisiana State University. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in Las Vegas since graduating in 2013 and has recently moved here to South Florida to be closer to family.  Dr. Guzmán has been with VCA since November 2016. She loves taking care of her clients and their pets and takes a special interest in Internal Medicine and Dermatology.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and hiking. She never misses an opportunity to travel someplace new, especially if her destination is known for delicious food. She shares her home with her husband, daughter and their two dogs, Tina, a spunky Puerto Rican Terrier and Lafitte, an English Bull Terrier, and their cat, Minu. 

Dr. Guzmán is fully bilingual and loves being able to help translate for our Spanish speaking clients so they can make informed decisions and get the best care for their pets.
