Dr. Vetter graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992 and has been working at VCA Riverside since July of 1999. He is currently acting as the hospital medical director and treating cats, dogs, small mammals, and some exotics. He has a special interest in surgery and enjoys medical challenges, especially when the outcome is favorable for the patient and family involved. From the age of seven, Dr. Vetter knew he wanted to be a veterinarian. And here he is today, still enjoying his career!

He is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland, and currently lives in Belmont, New Hampshire. Dr. Vetter has three dogs, four cats, a rabbit, and five chickens. His favorite pet is whoever is sitting on his lap while watching TV! He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing the guitar, exercising, and watching sports.
