By age 12, Dr. Suzanne Ahmad knew she wished to become a veterinarian. She graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada (the home of Anne of Green Gables). Since graduating, Suzanne has worked at clinics in the New England area, most recently at the Village Veterinary Clinic from April 2004 until the clinic's closing in December 2017, when the owner retired.
Suzanne loves working with cats and dogs of all ages, stages of health and temperaments, as well as their human chauffeurs. Suzanne's approach to treating a patient involves considering each client-pet pair as an individual unit when tailoring a workable plan for diagnosis and treatments.
One of Suzanne's biggest achievements was joining a flying club and getting her private pilot's license, which helped her overcome her fear of flying. On her days off, you may catch Suzanne hiking in NH, running or lifting weights at the gym, attempting to finish a novel, being artistically creative, or attempting to clicker train her cats!
