Dr. Tsai joined VCA in 2021 after graduating from Michigan State University in 2019. He was born in Taiwan and received his bachelor's degree in life science with a minor in the track of stem cells and regenerative medicine program from National Taiwan University. He then attended Michigan State University, where he earned both his Master's degree in science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. His graduate studies focused on glaucoma and establishing a cell culture system in vitro for a better understanding of disease mechanisms in order to develop better treatments for the disease. As the first line of veterinary medicine, Dr. Tsai truly believes in the importance of preventive medicine and is willing to discuss any aspect of preventive medicine to help your pet maintain better health. He also has a special interest in oncology, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. He has rotated in different oncology centers across the country, including AMC in New York and UC Davis.
When outside of work, Dr. Tsai loves to spend time to watch sports, sightseeing and travel in different countries (love to see different zoos in different countries).
