Dr. Andrea Maria Castillo was born and raised in Seguin, Texas, where her world revolved around family, church, and sports. After earning her high school diploma as a proud matador, she attended Texas A&M University- Kingsville, earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2018. During her undergraduate studies, she was blessed to have the experience of interning at a veterinary clinic, where she discovered infinite opportunities to positively impact the relationship between an owner and their pet. This realization became the foundation of a faith-based decision for her to pursue a career as a veterinarian. She recently earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in May 2023.
Dr. Castillo is excited to return to her hometown to serve and give back to the community that influenced her as a child. Dr. Castillo likes to spend her free time with her family and outside with her dog Rose, doing outdoor activities such as hikes and kayaking.
