Luz joined our health care team in October, 2014. She has really flourished into an outstanding receptionist and is a joy to work with. Both our clients and patients love her caring and loving nature. Despite labeling herself as a "workaholic," she does love to read on her spare time. She also takes great care of her Chinese crested, Razzow. We are so lucky to have her as a part of our team.
“Growing up I have always had a fur baby in my home. Even before I was born my parents had a pup by the name of 'Snoopy.’ I grew up with Snoopy and fell in love with dogs. He opened up my eyes to the animal world. As I got older I taught myself more on different types of animals. I just did not feel complete without having a pet, whether it was dog, cat, rabbit, or ferret. That's how I knew I wanted to work with animals! When I started to work with VCA Silver Lakes Animal Hospital in October 2014, it felt like it was the right place to be. I got to learn so much. Not only that, I was able to help out with the fur-babies that couldn't speak for themselves. I love coming to work cause I feel like I can grow and learn more and more each day. I'm a proud pet parent of senior Chinese Crested named 'Razzow'. He is my world.”
