MaKenna joined VCA Southern Tier Animal Hospital in August 2023 as a Veterinary Assistant after attending SUNY Cobleskill majoring in Animal Science. She has a background in emergency veterinary medicine and plans to further her education in veterinary technology. MaKenna grew up around large animals and currently works with horses on her days off. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and exploring new places with her two dogs, Ranger and Shiloh. MaKenna is a Fear Free Certified Professional and a member of the American Animal Hospital Association.
