Kirsten's VCA story began as a client of her local VCA Animal Hospital in 1995. Her experiences with VCA along with the care the veterinary team at that hospital gave her pets often made her consider a career in veterinary medicine. The next part of her story led her to Southgate Animal Hospital where she accepted a position as a client service representative seven years ago. Shortly after, the opportunity to become a supervisor would present itself, followed by the role of hospital manager.
Being a service-oriented individual, Kirsten's previous careers include working with children and caring for the elderly. She has also experience working with local rescues to help manage the population of feral cats on the South Shore of Long Island, which she calls home.
Kirsten is a Master Reiki practitioner, nature lover and proud owner of an energetic Miniature Pinscher named Rex. She spends her free time hiking in the woods, going to the beach and anything that involves spending time with family, friends and animals.
