Dr. Heather DeRico joined the VCA Valley team in May 2016. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science at University of Connecticut and then attended Tufts University for her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has an interest in internal medicine and ultrasound.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dog (Josie) and two cats, traveling, and exploring local breweries.
