Uschi Craigdallie
Emergency BSc, DVM

Uschi, originally from Switzerland, moved to Toronto with her family as a child. She came to Vancouver to study science at UBC and fell in love with the west coast.  She obtained a B.Sc. in Biopsychology from UBC and studied veterinary medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College.  During vet school she was part of Global Vets, a student volunteer organization, traveling to East Africa gaining hands-on veterinary experience with small and large animals and wildlife.

After graduation, Uschi returned to the west coast and has been a part of the Vancouver Animal Emergency Team ever since. She served as medical director of VAERC for several years. She has locumed in general practice but has realized that emergency medicine is what she is most passionate about. When not at work Uschi can be found cooking, baking or in the mountains biking and hiking.
