Dr. Janice Lem is a Bay Area area local, having been born and raised in Mountain View. She obtained her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Bioresource Sciences with Animal Emphasis from the University of California at Berkeley. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her senior year of clinics at the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine at Urbana-Champaign. She attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine for her clinical year of rotation. Dr. Lem has worked at several veterinary hospitals on Oahu, Hawaii, and in the Bay Area, training with Board Certified Surgeons and Internal Medicine veterinarians in the areas of oncology, reproduction, and ultrasound.
Dr. Lem joined VCA in October 2000, working first at VCA Kanoehe Animal Hospital on Oahu and then here at VCA Vets and Pets Animal Hospital.
