Dr. Froehlich received his doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1975. He started his career in Houston owning Lakewood Animal Hospital for eight years. He then started ICSB, the world's first commercial canine semen freezing facility. After three years as CEO and chief veterinarian, Dr. Froehlich sold his interest in ICSB to move his family to the family farm in Meyersville. He then started Heritage 10 Animal Hospital in Victoria until October of 2000 when he merged with Dr. Schomburg to form what is now VCA Victoria Animal Hospital. Dr. Froehlich is a member of Grace Lutheran church in Victoria as well as many veterinary organizations. In his spare time he and his family enjoy raising whitetail deer and attending various deer related activities.
