A recent transplant to Las Vegas from her hometown of San Francisco, CA, Vanessa is another of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians. To her parent's chagrin, Vanessa's obsession with animals started at a very young age growing up with reptiles, cats, dogs, fish and rodents. Her career began as a puppy trainer at Petsmart but soon transitioned into a more professional path when she completed the Veterinary Technology Program at Carrington College while employed at a VCA ER & Specialty Hospital in the Bay Area.

Vanessa's family consists of her mom and step-dad, both also new Las Vegas residents. Her human family is accentuated by her pets, a 15yr old one-eyed Chihuahua that was rescued in 2016 and a 2yr old Rottweiler who knows the Chihuahua is boss! Vanessa is passionate about animal rescue and senior adoption as well as spending her spare time traveling, swimming, and trying new restaurants.
