Maddie became part of our veterinary care team in 2014. She joined our team shortly after completing the veterinary assistant program at Dauphin County Technical School where she graduated with her NAVTA Certification, NOCTI Small Animal Science and Technology Certificate, and PVMA Veterinary Assistant Certificate. Maddie was drawn to the veterinary field primarily because of her love of animals and the impact she feels they have on our lives. Her favorite part of her job is the large role she plays in impacting an animal's well-being and healthcare by helping to educate their pet parents. She also takes an interest in animal nutrition, and animal behavior and training. Maddie owns two cats, Roxy and Hobie, and two dogs, Cynder and Eden. Outside of her work, Maddie enjoys boating, hiking, pet grooming, and traveling, as well as spending time with family and friends.
