Dr. Katherine De La Hoz grew up in the beautiful garden city of Singapore and shared her childhood with two boisterous German Shepherds, sparking her love of animals. She went on to study biology and environmental studies at Bryn Mawr College, and subsequently spent several years working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, MA before deciding to go back to veterinary school. 

While earning her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. De La Hoz had the opportunity to serve the community of Turtle Mountain, North Dakota, and experienced first-hand the importance of preventative medicine. Dr. De La Hoz is a Fear Free Certified practitioner and strongly believes that early intervention, expert monitoring, and regular check-ups are key to help our furry family members live long and healthy lives. 

Dr. De La Hoz currently resides in Santa Rosa with her husband, James, a human doctor, their energetic baby, Javier, and their beloved rescue pup, Charlie. On weekends, you'll catch her hiking, biking, running, or doing just about anything outdoors. She also enjoys the occasional board game or puzzle.
