Dr. Melanie Fratto was raised in Peachtree City, Georgia, a suburb just south of Atlanta. She attended the University of Georgia for both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees, Go Dawgs!

After graduation, she came to Lexington Kentucky the first time as an equine veterinarian. She then worked with horses in Virginia before switching to small animal veterinary care and moving to sunny San Diego. While she enjoyed the beach living, she missed the rolling hills of Kentucky and is excited to be back in Lexington!

Dr. Fratto is trained in both veterinary acupuncture as well as veterinary chiropractic care allowing her to support your pet's overall health with a holistic approach beyond medication. She enjoys providing preventive care and wellness as well as surgery, dentistry and senior pet wellness.

In her free time, Dr. Fratto enjoys riding horses as well as training and competing with her dogs in local dog sports including agility, rally, and barn hunt.
