Dr. Mackenzie Jochim is a 2017 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  Born in San Jose, California, Dr. Jochim was raised in Tulsa from age four and grew up with three cats along with an eclectic variety of exotic pets.  After graduating from Union High School, Dr. Jochim continued her education at Oklahoma State University, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Entomology while simultaneously obtaining an Honors college degree.

After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Jochim spent a year in Cleveland, Ohio, working at a VCA Specialty and Referral center as a rotating surgery and medicine intern.  There, she focused on care of critically ill patients and furthered her knowledge of many specialty fields.  She moved back to Oklahoma to be closer to family in June 2018.

Dr. Jochim has a passion for feline medicine, exotic care, brachycephalic care, and stress-free handling.  She has a special interest in ophthalmology, surgery, and acupuncture.  She places emphasis on client education and excellent standard of care for her patients, wanting there to be a clear and open relationship between herself and her clients.  Dr. Jochim currently owns a Crested Gecko (Ambrose) as well as a frisky three legged cat, Rosie.  In her free time, Dr. Jochim enjoys reading, racquetball, camping, and relaxing at home.  She aspires to eventually own a French Bulldog and some new feline friends in the future.
