Dr. Cory Loxtercamp was born and raised in a small Minnesota town, where he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota, Morris. Following this he moved to St. Paul to attend the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2002. His veterinary career began at a small animal and exotics practice in Northwest Indiana. Three years later, he relocated to Chicago's southern suburbs. He has been at VCA Worth since 2005.

In September of 2011, Dr. Loxtercamp was promoted to the Medical Director position.
