Dr. Megan Smith was born and raised in Yucca Valley, California. She graduated from California Polytechnic University with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science and then went on to Western University of Health Science, College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2010 with her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Megan returned to the high desert shortly after graduating, where she worked in private practice before joining our VCA family. Dr. Megan’s professional interests include internal medicine and dermatology. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, running, and spending time off-roading in the desert. Dr. Megan’s pet family consists of three cats and one dog."
