Tala is a graduate of NC State College of Veterinary Medicine and has been an associate with VCA since 2022. She joined the team at Alaska Pet Care in 2024. Her favorite thing about being a doctor is that she is able to learn new things every day, and that medicine is constantly advancing to improve our pets' wellbeing. Her main goal is to make every patient feel safe and comfortable during their hospital visit. Tala is proud that the Alaska Pet Care team has made a commitment to fear free practices and excited that the clinic is working on becoming Fear Free certified! Tala lives with her husband, two Chihuahuas, two bunnies, and a cat. A fun fact about Tala is that she takes classes at an aerial circus school!
