Rehabilitation

Physical Rehabilitation has been proven to accelerate recovery and increase mobility and strength. Our department is fully equipped with an underwater treadmill, therapeutic ultrasound and laser therapy, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, thermal therapy and a wide variety of therapeutic exercises available.

Here are some of the most common conditions for which rehabilitation has been proven effective:

  • Post-operative orthopedic surgery (TPLO, patella luxation repair, limb deformity corrective surgery)
  • Post-operative neurological surgery (Intervertebral Disc Disease, Decompression surgery)
  • Medical management of neurological conditions such as degenerative myelopathy and fibrocartilaginous embolus
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Weight loss or general conditioning
  • Athletic conditioning
