Diana has been a technician here at Alton Road Animal Hospital since 2009. She moved to Miami from Mexico with her daughter back in 2008. Prior to her move to the Sunshine state Diana studied Veterinary Medicine at The National Autonomous University of Mexico, she obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine in February 2017. Diana has acquired years of experience in the field of Veterinary Medicine from back when she began working as a Veterinary Technician in 2004. Since Diana was a little girl she showed an amazingly strong love for animals. She used to take home every bird, lizard, mouse, dog or cat in need. Today Diana owns 2 cats by the names of Praga, Chitara and a dog by the name of Quebec. She also happens to have a pet gecko by the name of Sally. Diana believes strongly in the medicine and the skills we acquire through Veterinary Medicine are essential in achieving balance in an animal’s health and well being. Our dogs and cats are more than pets, they are our companions, our family and they deserve to live a happy life. There is nothing Diana enjoys more than saying good bye to a patient going home because she knows that herself along with her team at VCA Alton Road Animal Hospital worked together to defeat a difficult situation and that pet can return to sharing his/her love with their family.
