Carolina has been a member of the family here at Alton Road Animal Hospital since September 2012. She moved to Miami in 2008, to which at that time she was seeking a career in a field of work that she knew would bring her happiness, therefore she enrolled into the Certified Veterinary Technician Program at Miami Dade College. In 2012 Carolina graduated from the Certified Veterinary Technician program. She is originally from Bogota Colombia. While living in Bogota she had the opportunity to work with show dogs. Carolina has had an interest in animals since she was a child, owning hamsters, rabbits, dogs and cats, this is what instilled her lifelong passion for caring for animals. Carolina is a proud owner of a German Shepard and a kitty cat. What she enjoys most about working for VCA is she gets to utilize her skills that were acquired while obtaining her CVT license in a team oriented environment in which patient care is the top priority.
