Dr. Emily Mueller was born and raised on Long Island. Originally, she planned on becoming an environmental scientist but her love for animals lead to her inevitable career of becoming a veterinarian instead!
Dr. Mueller attended Ross University where she studied veterinary medicine on the beautiful island of St. Kitts and she then attended Louisiana State University for her clinical year. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Massachusetts Amherst where she earned dual degrees in Environmental Science and Sustainable Food and Farming with a minor in Biology.
Growing up Dr. Mueller had many pets, like her beloved childhood pet duck named Willow and a quarter horse named Romeo. Emily enjoyed leisurely riding horses growing up and then in college was part of the equestrian team. During her free time, she likes to bake, crochet and spend time outdoors. At home she has an exuberant beagle named Duncan who she loves dearly! Emily has become right at home here at Animal General and we are fortunate to have her!
