Dr. Emily Coddon received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in 2007 after completing her clinical year at the University of Minnesota. Furthering her education, she completed a one-year rotating internship here at Animal Specialty Group where she particularly enjoyed emergency medicine. We are pleased she chose to stay on as a staff emergency clinician and devote her talents to this important specialty department.
Dr. Coddon has a special interest in toxicities, endocrinopathies and autoimmune diseases. She supports Guide Dogs of America, and is an active member of the AVMA and CVMA.
Dr. Coddon resides by the beach in Marina del Rey with her dogs Carib and Small Fry. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and taking her dogs to the beach.
