Dr. Przywara graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation, he completed a small animal internship in surgery, internal and emergency medicine at the University of Illinois. Dr. Przywara completed a surgical residency at VCA Aurora. He has authored/co-authored multiple papers regarding various surgical topics in peer-reviewed veterinary journals. Dr. Przywara has lectured on various surgical topics at the University of Illinois and neighboring animal hospitals. Dr. Przywara is a board-certified veterinary surgeon and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. He is also a member of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society. Dr. Przywara enjoys orthopedic as well as soft tissue surgery, including surgical oncology.
When he is not working, Dr. Przywara enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Included in his family are his dog named Riggs, his cat named Gretchen, and multiple turtles and lizards. In his free time, Dr. Przywara enjoys playing ice hockey, fishing, and oil painting
