"Where your pet's health is our top priority, and excellent service is our goal."
Our veterinarian team, Dr. Jill Crisp and Dr. Kim Anderson, have years of experience between them. Their diversified knowledge enables them to address a multitude of health issues that may affect your dog or cat. Located conveniently with access to the communities of Redford, Livonia, and Northville, our hospital offers the following services: vaccinations, dentistry, surgery, weight-loss counseling, and diabetic care.
Our goal is to help you understand the best way to care for your pet to avoid seeing us too frequently! Our staff is trained to give you the most current information regarding preventative care. The best way to keep your pet healthy is to stop preventable diseases! These include infectious disease such as viruses, bacterial diseases and parasites, as well as nutritionally related diseases, housing-related diseases, grooming-related diseases and reproductive diseases solved by timely spays and neutering.
Local Medical Issues
Between three and four million healthy animals are needlessly euthanized every year due to pet overpopulation caused by a failure to spay and neuter. That's why at VCA Beech Road Animal Hospital, we highly recommend that all pets be spayed or neutered. Not only does this help combat pet overpopulation, but altering your pets can help them resist life-threatening diseases and extend their lives.
Because our staff cares about animals in need of extra help, we currently enjoy working with Greyheart Greyhound Rescue, Boxer Haven Boxer Rescue and Caring for Cats. Most of these animals have been rescued from difficult circumstances, and need time to recover, repair and find a loving home. They are kept in foster homes associated with the groups, but you may see an occasional cat waiting to be adopted in our reception area. Check with us if you are looking for an extra feline friend!
Adopting one homeless animal will not change the world, but surely the world will be changed for that one homeless animal.
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.
