Dr. Prichard grew up just outside of the Utica area and attended Sauquoit Valley High School. Growing up with her own dogs and cats as well as her neighbor's horses next door, her love for animals started at a young age. She started working at Burrstone Animal Hospital in 2006, as a weekend kennel worker/veterinary assistant. At that time she knew she wanted to pursue a career as a veterinarian, and she is excited to begin fulfilling that dream right here at Burrstone! Her education continued and she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wells College in 2012, majoring   in biology.  She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2016. Outside of work Dr. Prichard enjoys spending time with her large extended family and her “black panther” of a cat, Trigger. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, golfing, biking, and finding new and fun things to do in beautiful Utica.
