Dr. Barlow was raised in Layton, Utah. For as long as she can remember she wanted to be a veterinarian. She did her undergraduate work at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and entered Colorado State University's Veterinary Medicine program in August 1981. She graduated from CSU in 1985. After working at a couple practices, she opened Centennial Valley Animal Hospital in April 1989.
She likes all aspects of Veterinary Practice but especially internal medicine, behavior, acupuncture, herbs, and exotics (ferrets, reptiles and birds).
She and her husband share their home with 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 birds. When she is away from the practice, she enjoys hiking, skiing, biking, reading, and visiting friends and family.
