Kelsey moved to the Kansas City area from South Dakota, where she developed a love for animals at a young age. She has worked at her aunt's horse ranch and a zoo; both opportunities have solidified her love of animals.

Kelsey graduated from South Dakota State University with a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries. She is passionate about animals, the environment, wildlife, and health. In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys music, birds, the outdoors and wildlife. She can often be found cooking, cycling, reading, cosplaying, and, of course, enjoying time with her cats.
