Connie, a graduate of the University of Kansas and the University of Missouri - Kansas City, grew up in Overland Park, Kansas and currently lives in Piper, Kansas. Her background was originally in marketing, but after working with animal health and pet nutrition companies for over ten years, she felt too distant from the actual pets she was helping and wanted to make a more direct impact on those pets.
