Dr. Claudia Gomez is originally from Maryland and earned her undergraduate degree in animal science from the University of Maryland, College Park. She went on to complete her DVM in 2024 at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Claudia is passionate about feline medicine and prioritizing the comfort of both her canine and feline patients during their visits. She holds certifications as an AAFP Feline Friendly Veterinarian and a Fear-Free certified professional, demonstrating her commitment to compassionate care. Claudia's professional interests also extend to surgery and internal medicine.

Outside of work, Claudia embraces an active lifestyle. She finds joy in rock climbing, running, and backpacking, and she frequently attends shows at Red Rocks and explores local breweries with friends. She also enjoys spending time at home with her partner and their beloved cat, Korra.
