Team Spotlight
Dr. Valerie Bryson began her career in veterinary medicine after graduating from Iowa State University in 2004. She has spent the last decade living and working in the Memphis area. Dr. Bryson has experience working with dogs, cats, and a variety of exotic pets. Her areas of interest are soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and exotic animal medicine.
When she is not working at VCA Eads, Dr. Bryson is enjoying time with her four children and two dachshund babies at home. She enjoys running and has competed in Spartan races and a variety of half marathons around the country. She also loves kayaking, traveling,...
Pennie began working here in 2003 as a kennel assistant. She has cross-trained in all departments and is currently the hospital manager. Pennie was born in Brownsville, TN, and grew up in Dancyville. She is married and has a son named Nash. Pennie exhibits true southern charm and enjoys water skiing, 4-wheeler riding, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She is also learning to quilt. Pennie participates in charitable walks that give back to her community, such as the Cotton Festival Walk and the Breast Cancer Walk. She has three dogs.
