Dr. Josh Payne completed his training in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Nebraska and Iowa State University in 2020. He then moved to Colorado to work in Woodland Park, but joined the team at VCA Front Range Animal Hospital in January of 2022.

Dr. Payne grew up on a small farm in Nebraska where he was always surrounded by dogs of all breeds and ages, as well as other farm animals. He is one of three veterinarians in the family, which helped guide him into his career. Dr. Payne loves surgery the most out of everything he does and plans to continue refining those skills.

In his free time, Dr. Payne enjoys dirt biking, working on and riding motorcycles, he also snowboards in the winter months. Dr. Payne has two happy and healthy Shiba Inus.
