Dr. Jess Ouellet obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and an Ecology undergraduate degrees from the University of Calgary. Since graduating from veterinary school in 2013, Dr. Ouellet has been practicing small animal medicine in the Calgary area. Prior to veterinary school, she worked as a field biologist and parasitologist in the mountains of Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.

During her years in practice, Dr. Ouellet has developed a special interest in neurology, internal medicine, and dentistry. She enjoys complicated medical cases and performing surgery. Elle parle couramment anglais et français.

A native Calgarian, Dr. Ouellet is the proud mother to two active young boys and two equally active Border Collies. In her spare time, Dr. Jess and her husband enjoy all outdoor activities, including mountain biking, skiing, running, climbing, backpacking, canoeing and hiking. On occasion, she can be found relaxing with a good book.
