Dr. James Bower received his degree from Michigan State University and pursued advanced study at the University of Pennsylvania as a small animal intern and the University of California at Davis as a resident in small animal internal medicine. Following completion of these advanced studies, he became a certified specialist in small animal internal medicine by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM).
