Dr. Chelsea Allen was born in Portland, OR, but grew up in Argentina due to her parents' occupation. She became fluent in Spanish as a result, and enjoys using it to help her practice veterinary medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University in 2012 and her DVM degree from OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Her areas of interest include shelter medicine and feline medicine. When not at work, she loves reading, baking, hiking, playing with paint, and fostering kittens for her local humane society. Dr. Allen has one cat who is too shy to pose for photographs.
