Staff Veterinarian
DVM
Born and raised on a small ranch in Central California, Dr. Krage has always had a love of medicine. She initially thought she’d like to be a human physician, so she majored in General Biology at the University of California, San Diego. After college she worked as an EMT, and on a whim, started volunteering at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. This is where her love of veterinary medicine was cultivated.
Dr. Krage graduated with highest honors from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her clinical year was completed here in the beautiful Willamette Valley at Oregon State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. It didn’t take long for her to fall in love with the area, so she decided to stay and start her veterinary career in Salem. Dr. Krage sees patients both at VCA Iris Animal Hospital and VCA Battle Creek Veterinary. She is currently working towards her acupuncture certification.
In her spare time, Dr. Krage enjoys hiking, kayaking, and slow-pitch softball. She has two four legged critters of her own- Pip and Finn, two adorable felines.
