Dr. Einav Elitsur is our new Medical Director at Jericho Animal Hospital. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2008 with both a Masters and Veterinary Medicine degrees. Following that she completed her rotating Small Animal internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists and then proceeded with emergency medicine in the NE-Boston area before starting her GP career in South Carolina. Dr. Elitsur has over a decade of experience in small animal medicine, and she is most passionate about ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and providing our geriatric pets the best quality of life.  

Dr. Elitsur recently moved to Huntington, NY and she is still very excited about her move! She is also very proud that her husband is a fellow veterinarian and course instructor at Long Island School of Veterinary Medicine, helping to educate and mold the next generation of veterinarians. Dr. Elitsur shares 3 young sons with her husband and her hobbies are traveling, eating at restaurants, baking, and staying busy with her 3 kids and all of their interests.
