Dr. Cox was born and raised in Houston, Texas where he was a veterinary technician for over 15 years. During this time he worked at Austin and Associates Animal Hospital and VCA Emergency Hospital on Calder Road. He achieved his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Houston in 2010. He went on to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine to graduate with his DVM in 2015. Dr. Cox received his clinical training at Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine. He has four dogs named Boomer, Hopper, Lucky, and Mando. He also has a Sphynx named Cojo. Dr. Cox loves Houston sports teams, being outdoors and most of all, spending time with his daughter.
