Local Medical Issues

There are numerous local and medical issues that can impact your pet’s health and that require your attention over the entire year. One example is heartworms. They can affect both dogs and cats. Because it’s transmitted by the mosquito, which thrives in San Antonio, it’s a serious cause for concern. And because the winter temperatures here in San Antonio do not get cold enough to kill mosquito eggs, it is a year-round risk.
