Local Medical Issues
There are numerous local and medical issues that can impact your pet’s health and that require your attention over the entire year. One example is heartworms. They can affect both dogs and cats. Because it’s transmitted by the mosquito, which thrives in San Antonio, it’s a serious cause for concern. And because the winter temperatures here in San Antonio do not get cold enough to kill mosquito eggs, it is a year-round risk. The same is true for flea and tick infestations and intestinal parasites, each of which poses problems in any season. And finally, contrary to what you’d expect, allergies are a year-round issue. Many pets suffer from skin and ear allergies, the signs of which include scratching, redness in the ears, and "scaly" skin.
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.
