Dr. Chan has always loved animals, and at the early age of eight, she had already decided she would be a veterinarian. She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2008 and has been practicing since. She also received her bachelor's in Microbiology from the University of Georgia. She transferred from another VCA clinic in Pennsylvania to serve the diverse community of the D.C. metropolitan area. She speaks Cantonese and her special interests include behavioral medicine and veterinary acupuncture. Outside of work, Dr. Chan enjoys to travel when possible and explore different ethnic foods.
