Dr. Noronha is a lifelong animal lover who decided to become a veterinarian at the age of 11. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, she completed her bachelor's degree in biology at Washington University in St. Louis before earning her veterinary degree at Iowa State University. She now lives in Maryland with her Lab mix, Phineas.
Dr. Noronha joined VCA North Rockville in July 2022. Her professional interests include internal medicine, cardiology, and nutrition. She is Fear Free Certified and passionate about reducing stress for animals at the veterinarian and in their day-to-day lives.
In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, baking, and exploring the DMV area.
"Despite growing up around physicians, I always knew that when I became a doctor, my patients would be animals. I love that a veterinarian can do all types of medicine and surgery on more than one species. I also enjoy the challenge of having patients that can't communicate with us. I want to be their voice and their best advocate for a healthy and happy life."
