Maddie is a Massachusetts native. Her dog, Poke, is a deaf Catahoula Leopard dog who loves to join her while she finds new hiking trails in Colorado. Her cats, Hopper and Opal, have huge personalities and act as her personal alarm clock. Maddie grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, reptiles, and rodents. And she hopes to add a snake to her current pack someday.
