Jessica has always felt a connection with animals and has had an interest in medicine and biology. Everything fell in to place when she started working in her first veterinary clinic in 2010. She loved the new challenges every day, and getting to meet so many different adorable animals. After working in clinics for several years, she decided to take the distance education program at Thomson Rivers University to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, and was thrilled to graduate in 2018. She began her career with Riverbend Veterinary clinic January of 2019, and loves working here. She enjoys the atmosphere, how the staff are all amazing and supportive, and how they love every patient that comes through the door. She appreciates how the team supports and encourages interests, and when she showed a desire to specialize in Behaviour the entire team was behind her and assisting her to achieve her goal. She is looking forward to the new challenges her interests will bring and to continue growing with the Riverbend Team.
