Kristen graduated as an RVT from NAIT in 2015. Prior to starting her schooling she worked at Riverbend for 2 years as a Tech Assistant. Following her graduation she worked in an emergency clinic, part of the VCA family, for 6 months before returning to Riverbend. Her special interest within the clinic includes surgical anesthesia and Kristen is committed to making sure all patients requiring a sedated or anesthetized procedure have a positive/low-stress experience. 

Kristen's fur family includes a 9 year old German Shepherd mix named Ellie and 2 calico cats named Peanut and Pistachio. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and backcountry camping. It's fun getting lost in the woods!
