Dr. Kinga Szakacs is originally from Hungary. In addition to her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, she has a Certification in Emergency and Critical Care. Dr. Szakacs enjoys all aspects of the profession—especially ECC, cardiology, ultrasonography, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery and holistic medicine (e.g., acupuncture, Chinese food therapy).

When asked what she likes most about her job, she says, "Being able to use and combine western and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine which allows me to provide the best possible treatment for the animals under my care. I am passionate about treating animals as a whole with attention to details such as lifestyle, diet, making sure each patient gets treated on an individual basis by prioritizing their individual needs."

In her free time, Dr. Szakacs enjoys hiking, travelling, table tennis, kayaking, whitewater rafting, cooking, snowboarding, ballroom dancing, ATV riding and much more.
